What is Mobile Deposit?

Mobile Deposit is a service that allows you to make a deposit directly into your eligible checking or savings account using the Mobile Banking App on supported Apple® and Android devices.

How do I endorse my check?

On the back of the check, endorse the check and write "For Mobile Deposit Only at BAC Community Bank".

Are there any fees for Mobile Deposit?

We are pleased to offer the Mobile Deposit service to you at no charge for consumers* meeting all requirements. Other fees may still apply, however, such as those for returned items or overdrafts, per item charges, limits on the number of items to deposit, and mobile carrier fees. You should also consult the Bank’s fee schedule and deposit account agreement for further information regarding fees applicable to your account.

When will my deposit be processed?

Deposits made before 4 p.m. will be processed the same business day. Deposits made after 4 p.m., or on weekends or holidays, will be processed the next business day.

When will funds from Mobile Deposits be available?

The Bank will make funds available for Electronic Item(s) transmitted, accepted and successfully processed through the Service according to the Bank’s standard funds availability policy for the Account used in conjunction with the Service.

Are there limits to how much I can deposit?

Yes, the daily deposit limit is $1,500.00.

How do I know when the bank has received my deposit?

You will receive a unique confirmation ID when your deposit has been submitted for review. You can verify the status of a deposit in the “View Deposit History” screen within the App.

What do I do with the check after it has been deposited?

After you receive confirmation that your check has been accepted for processing, store the paper check in a safe place. After 14 days, and verification that funds have been deposited into your account, write “VOID” on the face of the check and destroy the check.

How many checks can I deposit using Mobile Deposit?

You can submit one check per deposit. However, you may submit as many deposits as you would like, up to the deposit limit(s).

When can I use Mobile Deposit?

You can use Mobile Deposit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including weekends and holidays.

Will Mobile Deposit work on my phone and/or mobile device?

Mobile Deposit works on most iPhone®, iPad® and Android devices. 

What types of checks can I deposit?

Any check drawn on institutions located in the United States that have a MICR. Checks payable jointly must be endorsed properly and deposited into an account in the name of all payees. We cannot accept foreign checks, bonds, 3rd party checks, and returned or re-deposited items for deposit.

*Although there is no fee for deposits made to consumer (Personal) accounts, a fee may be charged for a mobile deposit made to a Business account using the Personal Mobile Banking app since some Business transactions may have additional fees, please refer to the Business Deposit Accounts Fee & Information Schedule.
