How to Open a Teen Checking Account

  • Teen and Adult joint owner must visit a BAC branch in person.

What Should I Bring?

  • Both the Teen and the Adult opening the account need to bring:
    • Date of Birth
    • Social Security Number
    • Valid ID:
      • California ID Card,
      • California Driver License,
      • U.S. Passport, or
      • Student ID with photo
    • $25 opening deposit (this is your money)

Where Should I Go?

  • Find the nearest BAC branch location
    • Stop by during regular business hours, or
    • Call ahead to make an appointment (branch phone numbers are included in the link below.)
